Service Description
Ready to peel away the past? Let's start with one of our custom peels! Great for brightening and buffing away fine lines and wrinkles. A great option for acne as well. These are best done in a session of 4-6 spaced 1-2 weeks apart depending on tolerance. Please note: It is mandatory to book at least one Signature Glo Facial before booking a peel. Upon approval, we can move forward with the peel series. Contraindications: Diabetes, Accutane in the last year. Pregnancy/Lactating, Active Herpes/Cold Sore outbreak. To prep for your peel: It is important to follow these instructions to maximize your benefits and to prevent skin injury. If you do not follow our instructions, skin damage can occur. -Stop all exfoliants, this includes Scrubs and Salicylic & Glycolic acids, Retinol (vitamin A), AHA, BHA, Benzol Peroxide etc. 1 week prior for over-the-counter products, 1 month for prescription strength. -Must wait to start peel until 3 weeks following a laser session. -Waxing/Electrolysis can be done one week prior. -Prescription antibiotics must be stopped for one month prior to peel. Following the peel you may experience tingling, tightness, dryness, redness, mild swelling, flaking, peeling. These sensations are normal and may last hours to a couple days. -Always wear sunscreen after a peel and re-apply if you will be in the sun for extended periods. -Avoid unnecessary sweating. -No sauna/whirpool/swimming for at least two days following - Waxing/electrolysis should be done two weeks after last peel session. -Wait 1 week post peel before resuming exfoliants: Scrubs and Salicylic & Glycolic acids, Retinol (vitamin A), AHA, BHA, Benzol Peroxide etc. **If you are in the middle of a peel series, wait to use exfoliants until one week after your final appointment. -Drink plenty of water and keep your skin hydrated. Appointment duration will be 45 minutes - 1 hour
